2. Information We Collect

  • Identity and contact details such as name, phone number, email address, address, emergency contact, and student profile details.
  • Account and booking details such as selected plan, seat, branch, room type, booking dates, attendance records, renewals, cancellations, and service usage history.
  • Payment details such as order amount, payment status, transaction reference, payment gateway response, wallet entries, refund records, and invoice or receipt details. We do not store full card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV, or net banking passwords.
  • Uploaded files such as profile photographs, identity or document images, and payment proof images when you submit them for verification or account operations.
  • Location and device information when you use location-based attendance, QR attendance, app security, fraud prevention, or service diagnostics.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, app/PWA usage, cookies, logs, and error reports.

3. How We Use Information

  • To create and manage student accounts, bookings, seat allocations, renewals, attendance, payments, refunds, wallet balances, and support requests.
  • To verify identity, prevent misuse, detect fraud, secure accounts, limit abusive login or OTP attempts, and maintain reliable records.
  • To send service messages such as OTPs, booking updates, payment confirmations, reminders, notices, and support responses.
  • To improve our website, student portal, attendance flow, service quality, and operational reporting.
  • To meet legal, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, payment gateway, and regulatory requirements.

4. Payment Processing

Online payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways, banks, UPI apps, or other payment partners. These partners process payment credentials under their own security and compliance systems. Abhyashika Library stores only the payment records needed to confirm orders, reconcile transactions, provide receipts, handle cancellations, and process approved refunds.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell student or customer data. We may share limited information with service providers and partners who help operate the service, including payment gateways, SMS or email providers, cloud hosting and storage providers, analytics and security tools, professional advisors, and government or law enforcement authorities when legally required.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, support the PWA experience, secure sessions, and improve the website. You may control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect login, payments, or app functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as required to provide services, maintain attendance and payment records, resolve disputes, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and prevent fraud or misuse. When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or archive it according to operational and legal requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, so users should keep their login details and OTPs confidential and report suspicious activity promptly.

9. User Choices and Requests

Users may contact us to request access, correction, update, or deletion of their personal information. Some records, including transaction, attendance, tax, dispute, and fraud-prevention records, may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate business requirements.
